American Orthopaedic Association selects Dr. Alpesh Patel for 2015 American-British-Canadian Traveling Fellowship

Alpesh A. Patel, MD, has been awarded the 2015 American Orthopaedic Association’s American-British-Canadian Traveling Fellowship.

Dr. Patel is co-director of the Northwestern Medicine Spine Center in Chicago and he is one of five orthopedic surgeons to be selected the fellowship this year. Dr. Patel and his colleagues will travel to the United Kingdom, South Africa and New Zealand to meet with in orthopedic surgery specialists from around the world.

The AOA’s traveling fellowship program recognizes young leaders for their early contributions to orthopedics.
