Memorial Neuroscience Institute names Dr. Brijesh Mehta medical director of stroke, neurocritical care

Brijesh P. Mehta, MD, was named medical director of stroke and neurocritical care at Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System.

Dr. Mehta focuses on the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, arteriovenous malformations of the brain and spine in adult and pediatric patients, intracranial aneurysms and vertebral compression fractures. He has completed a stroke and neurocritical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston as well as an endovascular neurosurgery and minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, also located in Boston.
