Isador Lieberman, MD – spine surgeons to know | 2014

Liebreman HeadshotIsador Lieberman, MD (Texas Back Institute, Plano). Dr. Lieberman is the director of the scoliosis and spine tumor center at Texas Back Institute. He previously practiced at Cleveland Clinic, where he was instrumental in robotic-assisted spine research and innovation. He earned the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Innovations Recognition in 2005 and the World Class Service Award of Excellence that same year.

 

Dr. Lieberman has taken his services abroad on several medical mission trips and leads a team to Uganda on regular basis with the Uganda Spine Mission. He has served on the Global Outreach Committee for the Scoliosis Research Society and earned the Health Volunteers Overseas Golden Apple. 

 

Dr. Lieberman earned his medical degree at University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. His additional training includes spine surgery fellowships at The Toronto Hospital and Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
