California Orthopaedic Association names new officers

The California Orthopaedic Association announced new officers for 2014 to 2015 term, according to an AAOS Now report.

The new officers include Robert M. O’Hollaren, MD, as president; William W. Brien, MD, as first vice-president, Jan E. Henstorf, MD, as second vice-president and Basil R. Besh, MD, as secretary-treasurer.

 

Dr. O’Hollaren is an orthopedic surgeon at Ventura Orthopedics and serves as director of physical therapy and chief of surgery at Community Memorial Hospital. He previously served as COA’s treasurer and has earned the association’s Founder’s Award.

 

The new and re-elected COA board members are:

 

•    George D. Balfour, MD
•    Ronald A. Navarro, MD
•    Francois D. LaLonde, MD
•    Ronald W.B. Wyatt, MD
•    Elspeth R. E. Kinnucan, MD
•    Stephen C. Weber, MD

 

The association also named Raymond B. Raven, MD, MBA and Alexandra K. Schwartz, MD, as young orthopedists.
