Dr. James Andrews performs Tommy John surgery on White Sox’s Nate Jones

James Andrews, MD, performed elbow surgery on Chicago White Sox reliever Nate Jones, according to a report by The Kansas City Star.

Dr. Andrews practices at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He recently received the 2014 Robert E. Leach Mr. Sports Medicine Award at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine’s Annual Meeting in Seattle.

 

Dr. Andrews performed Tommy John surgery on Mr. Jones’ right elbow, according to the report.
