Dr. Julie Zielinski receives award for work with children

Children’s Advocacy Center of Hamilton awarded Julie A. Zielinski, MD, the One with Courage Award for Healing, according to an AAOS Now report.

Dr. Zielinski is an assistant professor of pediatric orthopedic surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Mich. Her additional training includes a fellowship at Orlando Health/Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

 

The award honors individuals who champion children and support the organization’s interests through giving, service or volunteering.
