He has also joined the department of neuroscience at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington as a full professor.
Dr. Muizelaar has had an extensive career in neurosurgery, neurotrauma and stroke research. He completed has completed fellowship training in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
