Excela Health Receives $3M State Grant for Orthopedic Center

 

Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health has received a state Economic Growth Initiative Grant of $3 million to plan and build an orthopedic treatment center in Hempfield, Pa., according to a TribLive News report.

The health system is planning a 125,000-square-foot building that will house the surgical center as well as facilities for diagnosis and rehabilitation. It will include surgeons, rheumatologists, physical therapists and radiologists.
