Nurse practitioners earn more than other medical staff members who have less than two years if experience, according to the 2014 Staff Salary Survey by Physician’s Practice.

Nearly 1,400 physicians and administrators were polled for the survey.

 

Here are the national average salaries of medical staff members with less than two years of experience:

 

•    Nurse practitioner — $80,620
•    Physician assistant — $73,366
•    Nurse manager — $56,877
•    Registered nurse — $44,941
•    Billing manager — $40,898
•    Care coordinator — $33,154
•    Medical biller — $30,561
•    Medical assistant — $25,656
•    Front-desk staff — $24,944
•    Medical records clerk — $23,571
