Dr. David Altchek Performs Season-Ending Elbow Surgery on Atlanta Braves’ Gavin Floyd

 

David Altchek, MD, performed season-ending elbow surgery on Atlanta Braves starter Gavin Floyd, according to a Fox Sports report.

Dr. Altchek is co-chief of the sports medicine and shoulder service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He repaired Mr. Floyd’s fractured olecranon in his right elbow, according to the report.
