The “Access to America’s Orthopaedic Services Act,” or S. 1548, would also authorize a study on graduate medical education and the impact of funding on the availability of specialty physicians.
In addition, the act would reauthorize the Transplantation Transmission Sentinel Network administered by the United Network of Organ Sharing through a grant from the CDC.
