Blue Horizon International is a healthcare consulting company that combines treatment, research and philanthropic efforts.

Dr. Mehling, who operates his own practice in West Islip, N.Y., and Hackensack, N.J., will be spearheading research in stem cell therapy to achieve health benefits in Nigeria as well as providing orthopedic care. Dr. Mehling has traveled extensively throughout Asia and the Middle East and founded Blue Horizon to address inequalities in access to high-quality care worldwide.

“We are focused on bringing advanced stem cell therapies within reach of a wider audience because we envision a future in which stem cell treatments are preferred over many surgical, pharmacological and rehabilitative medical services,” said Dr. Mehling.
