University of Rochester Medical Center Receives 750k Gift for Orthopedic Research

The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has received a gift of $750,000 for orthopedics research.

Eva K. Pressman, MD, chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology and the Henry A. Thiede Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology; and Seth M. Zeidman, MD, a neurosurgeon who is a member of Rochester-based Highland Hospital’s medical staff, pledged the gift.

 

The couple is committed to supporting the work being done by the Center for Musculoskeletal Research, which is a part of the university’s department of orthopedics and rehabilitation.
