Saint Thomas Health Gets State Approval to Expand Total Joint Replacement Services

Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health has received approval from the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency to expand orthopedic services by renovating space at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.

The health system plans to spend $25 million to renovate 94,000 square feet of space that will result in the creation of eight dedicated operating rooms for advanced total joint replacement procedures.

 

This project is part of a larger effort to develop the Saint Thomas Joint Replacement Institute to coordinate and expand joint replacement services across the health system.
