The “SGR Repeal and Medicare Provider Payment Modernization Act of 2014,” would immediately repeal SGR but does not include financial offsets or the usual extender policies. The legislation would provide 0.5 percent positive annual payment updates for the next five years and the 5 percent added incentive payment for physicians in alternative payment models is retained.
