Cleveland Clinic Names Dr. Kurt Spindler Director of Orthopedic Clinical Outcomes, Research & Sports Health

Cleveland Clinic announced the appointment of Kurt Spindler, MD, as vice chairman of research in the Orthopaedic & Rheumatologic Institute, director of orthopedic clinical outcomes and the academic director of Cleveland Clinic Sports Health, according to a report by The Plain Dealer.

Dr. Spindler most recently served as director of sports medicine and vice chairman of orthopedics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He focuses on knee ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and evaluation and treatment of sports musculoskeletal injuries.
