Syosset Hospital includes six operating rooms that will accommodate orthopedic surgery patients as well as ophthalmology, bariatric surgery and pain management patients.
The move is part of the health system’s plans to convert Glen Cove Hospital to a primarily ambulatory hospital with limited inpatient care.
