Environmental Protection Agency Names Medtronic Spinal on Largest Green Users List

Medtronic Spinal has been ranked at No. 52 on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Fortune 500 list of the largest green power users, according to a Memphis Business Journal report.

Medtronic Spinal uses around 8 million kilowatt-hours of green power, which is the equivalent of 800 average American homes.

 

The list consists of 82 companies using nearly 15.1 billion kilowatt-hours of green power annually, which is equivalent to avoiding the carbon dioxide emissions from the electricity use of nearly 1.5 million average American homes, according to the EPA’s website.
