The book is a guide to sports and exercise injuries and treatments for athletes, parents of athletes, coaches and healthcare professionals treating athletes.
Dr. Geier recently started his own private practice in Charleston, S.C., after serving as director of MUSC Sports Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He serves as chairman of the public relations committee of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has worked with the medical teams that provided care for the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.
