Northwest Medical Center Constructs $50M Wing That Includes Brain, Spine Surgery Suites

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz., has built a $50 million surgical wing, which includes suites for brain and spine surgery, according to an Arizona Daily Star report.

The new wing brings the total number of operating rooms to 16, and includes specialized suites for cardiac procedures, brain and spine surgery and robotic-assisted surgery. The wing also includes 3D image-guided technology for neurosurgery, according to the report.
