NASS Advocacy Update: Continued Work on SGR

Spine on the Hill, the North American Spine Society’s blog, recently updated with a post about the progress of key legislative issues, such as sustainable growth rate repeal and funding for the Independent Payment Advisory Board.

Members of Congress are working on a budget deal that would not contain new funding for Affordable Care Act and reduce funding for IPAB. They are also working on SGR replacement bills.

 

In the coming weeks, NASS and the Alliance of Specialty Medicine plan to conduct meetings on Capital Hill to express concerns with SGR bills.
