Dr. Bhatti focuses on lumbar and cervical disc replacement, minimally invasive anterior lateral and posterior fusions, thoracic fusion, vertebroplasty and a number of other spine conditions. He also has a professional interest in non-operative pain management including injections, physical therapy, pelvic alignment and core stabilization and cervical and lumbar injections.

“With so much focus on the cost of medicine today, many procedures will move to the outpatient setting as insurance companies, employers and patients push back on expensive hospital stays,” said Dr. Bhatti in a Becker’s Spine Review article. “Overall, the migration to outpatient surgery is positive in a time where so much emphasis is being placed on medical economics.”

Dr. Bhatti earned his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. He has completed a spine fellowship at London Spine Clinic in the United Kingdom.
