When asked how their personal incomes in 2013 compared to the previous year, respondents reported the following:
• It was about the same — 38.5 percent
• It was down by less than 5 percent — 3.4 percent
• It was down by more than 5 percent and less than 10 percent — 9.5 percent
• It was down by more than 10 percent — 17.1 percent
• It was up by less than 5 percent — 13.4 percent
• It was up by more than 5 percent and less than 10 percent — 7.7 percent
• It was up by more than 10 percent — 10.4 percent
