Poll: Most Uninsured Not Happy With Exchange Site Experience

Most uninsured Americans who have visited a federal or state health insurance exchange site have been unhappy with the experience, according to a recent Gallup poll.

Sixty-three percent of those surveyed said their experience was negative or very negative. The poll draws on interviews Gallup conducted with 1,573 uninsured Americans from Oct. 23 to Nov. 18. During that time period, 17 percent of Americans said they were uninsured, and 21 percent of the uninsured said they personally visited or attempted to visit a state or federal exchange site.
