Dr. Bush-Joseph is a surgeon and sports medicine physician at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago. He is also a professor at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and the associate director of the Rush Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. He serves as the head team physician for the Chicago White Sox and an associate team physician for the Chicago Bulls.
The award is presented to one person each year who has made significant contributions to the athletic training/sports medicine profession and has provided quality service to athletes in Illinois.
