URMC Names Dr. James Metcalf Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery

University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has named James C. Metcalf Jr., MD, assistant professor of neurosurgery and announced that he will provide care at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, N.Y.

Dr. Metcalf relocated from Albany, Ga., where he was on staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and served as a clinical professor at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. He focuses on spine disorders and cancer care.
