Mr. Burke was also ordered to pay $107,000 in restitution.
According to the report, between 2007 and 2009, Mr. Burke moved funds from charitable contributions and medical supply rebates to a personal account to use for his own expenses. At the time, he was administrative director of South Shore’s cardiovascular center.
Mr. Burke pleaded guilty to the charges in February.
