Dr. Tim Weber Performs Ankle Surgery on IndyCar Racer Dario Franchitti

Tim Weber, MD, has performed surgery to repair the talus bone in IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti’s right ankle.

Mr. Franchitti had surgery last week to temporarily stabilize the broken ankle at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston. He was injured in a crash during the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston. His estimated recovery time has not been specified.
