Dr. Perri is a member of the North American Spine Society, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He focuses on complex reconstructive surgery for spine tumors and deformities as well as minimally invasive and motion preservation surgery for degenerative spinal diseases.
Dr. Perri’s research interests include traumatic spinal cord injury and therapies for subsequent neuroprotection and recovery. He has also conducted research on artificial disc replacement and their potential postoperative complications, and developed a classification system for cervical kyphotic deformities with strategies and techniques for surgical reconstruction.
Dr. Perri earned his doctor of osteopathy degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Pinnacle Health Systems in Hershey, Pa. He has also completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
