Dr. McCullen is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He focuses on conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbo-sacral spine, microsurgery, minimally invasive strategies and complex spinal reconstruction. He has written a book and authored nine chapters in spine surgery textbooks. He also serves on the editorial board of The Spine Journal.
“I believe in delivering personalized and supportive care,” said Dr. McCullen, according to the Lincoln Orthopaedic Center website. “Thorough evaluations, detailed discussions that educate and inform decision making, less invasive techniques where applicable and experienced precision in the operating room.”
Dr. McCullen earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, N.H. He has also completed a spine surgery fellowship at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, N.Y.
