The report includes responses from 1,200 physicians, 30 percent of whom are primary care physicians and 76 percent of whom are specialists.
When asked how confident they were regarding their practices’ ability to transition smoothly to ICD-10, respondents reported the following:
• Confident — 38 percent
• Neutral — 29 percent
• Not very confident — 25 percent
• Not at all confident — 9 percent
