Dr. Hilibrand is board certified in orthopedic surgery. His clinical interests include cervical herniated discs, cervical spine diseases, cervical spine disorders, discectomy, herniated disc, lumbar degenerative disc disease and pseudarthrosis.
“The tough part about this trend [of decreased patient visits for chronic injuries] is that the chronic problems are much more serious because they are related to degenerative conditions of the spine and could be treated non-operatively with relatively low acuity,” said Dr. Hilibrand in a Becker’s Spine Review article.
Dr. Hilibrand earned his medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. He has also completed a spine and spinal cord fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
