Dr. Sybert is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and his clinical interests include spinal stenosis, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, trauma, tumors, lumbar degenerative disc disease, spinal deformity and cervical herniated discs. His research interests include tumor reconstruction and artificial cervical disc FDA clinical studies.
Dr. Sybert is the director of medical education at the Mount Carmel New Albany (Ohio) Surgical Hospital, where he oversees the spine fellowship program. He also serves editorial review panel of The Spine Journal.
Dr. Sybert earned his medical degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and he has completed a spinal reconstruction fellowship at the Cleveland Spine and Arthritis Center.
