Sonoma Orthopedic Product’s CRx Collarbone Nail Results in Reduction of Implant Removal

The use of Sonoma Orthopedic Product’s CRx collarbone nail for displaced clavicle fractures resulted in a tenfold reduction in the incidence of implant removal, according to studies presented at the annual meeting of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Two surgeons — Carl Basamania, MD, from Seattle and Reggie King, MD, from Cape Town, South Africa — presented studies on the use of CRx collarbone nail at the meeting.

According to the studies, the use of Sonoma’s collarbone nail also resulted in better patient satisfaction scores that use of slings or surgical plating for both transverse and comminuted fractures.
