Dr. Michael Ciccotti Performs Knee Surgery on Philadelphia Phillies First Baseman Ryan Howard

Michael Ciccotti, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, performed successful arthroscopic knee surgery on the Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard, according to a report by The Morning Call.

Dr. Ciccotti performed the surgery to address a torn medial meniscus in the player’s left knee.

Dr. Ciccotti serves as the director of sports medicine at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia and the team physician of the Phillies.
