The conference will be led by Thomas Trojian, MD, the AMSSM chair of the international and inter-organizational relations committee.
A neurologist from the American Academy of Neurology and an orthopedic surgeon from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine will be joining the volunteer members of AMSSM.
The conference includes four sections: musculoskeletal ultrasound guided and surgical procedures demonstrations, an introduction to sports medicine for medical students, lectures on various topics in sports medicine and clinical time with Haitian physicians.
