Mr. Cooper is currently president and CEO of a full-service publishing and marketing media company, Media Solutions. According to the news release, he is an Army veteran and a wheelchair user.
As chairman he will help to strengthen the information and support system that the United Spinal Association provides for people with spine injuries nationwide.
Mr. Cooper replaces Lex Frieden, who was president of United Spinal for four years.
