Dr. Ken Yamaguchi Performs Elbow Surgery on Portland Trail Blazer Wesley Matthews

Ken Yamaguchi, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, performed successful elbow surgery on Portland Trail Blazers Wesley Matthews, according to an Oregon Live report.

Dr. Yamaguchi is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He performed the procedure at Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

The player is expected to recover in three to four weeks.
