Dr. Chou specializes in complex spine surgery and treats spinal deformities, such as scoliosis, kyphosis, kyphoscoliosis and flatback syndrome. He also treats spinal tumors and degenerative conditions of the spine, including spondylolisthesis and stenosis. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Chou is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
Dr. Chou earned his medical degree the UCSF School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He has also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix.
