ONC Provides Tips for Meeting Transition of Care Measure for MU Stage 2

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has released a brief on the available options for meeting the transition of care measure that is required for meaningful use stage 2.

The brief lays out ways that Health Information Service Providers and Health Information Organizations can support eligible providers for stage 2 transition of care exchange. The brief also provides best practice recommendations to ensure audit measures from the the CMS electronic health record incentive program can be met by eligible providers.
