AANS Names Dr. Gary Bloomgarden Vice President

The American Association of Neurological Surgeons has named board-certified neurosurgeon Gary Bloomgarden, MD, FAANS, FACS, as its vice president.

Dr. Bloomgarden has previously served on the AANS Board of Directors.

He is a partner of Neuroscience, PC, in New Haven, Conn., and currently serves as department chair of neurosurgery and the director of spine programs at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven.
