Dr. Steven Scott Donates $20M to Duke Sports

Steven Scott, MD, assistant consulting obstetrics and gynecology professor, and his wife Rebecca Scott have donated $20 million to the Duke University department of orthopaedic surgery sports medicine division, in Durham, N.C., according to a report by The Chronicle.

The donation is intended to provide support for the sports medicine program’s research, development, medical training and faculty recruitment.

Duke Sports Medicine includes the Duke Sports Performance Program, Duke Sports Medicine Clinic, Michel W. Krzyzewski Human Performance Lab and Duke Sports Medicine Performance Program.
