Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Armin Oskouei of SpineCenterAtlanta

Armin Oskouei, MD, is the director of interventional spine at SpineCenterAtlanta. He performed the first endoscopic spine surgery in Atlanta this year. He has led research teams in both basic science research and clinical research. He is also an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Dr. Oskouei is double board certified with specialty training in anesthesiology and interventional spine physiatry and pain. He has presented his research at multiple national meetings around the United States and abroad, including at the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ annual conference and at the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine conferences.

He earned his medical degree at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He has also completed a fellowship in interventional pain, specializing in anesthesiology and interventional spine, at Emory University School of Medicine.
