The player’s surgery was moved up after he experienced back spasms. Team physician Brian McKeon, MD, directed the surgery, and it was reported to be a successful, permanent fix. The procedure was performed at New England Baptist Hospital.

Mr. Sullinger is expected to be back for next season’s training camp.
