Phoenixville Hospital Names Dr. Sidney Jacoby Chief of Orthopedic Surgery

Sidney M. Jacoby, MD, was named chief of orthopedic surgery at Phoenixville (Pa.) Hospital and medical director of the hospital’s Limerick Surgery Center, according to a Phoenixville Patch report.

Dr. Jacoby has a special interest in hand surgery and was named a “Young Leader” in hand surgery by the American Association of Hand Surgery, according to the report. He is also an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he completed his residency and fellowship.
