Dr. James Andrews Publishes Book on Preventing Youth Sports Injuries

James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., published a book on sports medicine care for young athletes, according to a Tulsa World report.

The book titled “Any Given Monday: Sports Injuries and How to Prevent Them, For Athletes, Parents and Coaches — Based on My Life in Sports Medicine” was released today, according to the report. Dr. Andrews has treated several professional athletes throughout his career and led efforts in the STOP Sports Injuries campaign, focused on education and injury prevention in youth athletes.
