Sports medicine specialists Evan Stout, MD, joined Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo., according to the Sedalia Democrat.

1. Joining Douglas Kiburz, MD, and Ryan Kelly Edwards, MD, Dr. Stout specializes in adult, adolescent and pediatric sports injury treatment.
2. Dr. Stout underwent fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Leawood, Kan.
3. After earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Dr. Stout completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
4. Bothwell Regional Health Center's sports medicine clinic specializes in joint replacement, trauma and arthroscopy surgery.
5. In addition, Bothwell Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is a partnership between the Bothwell Regional Medical Center and the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute in Columbia.
