Dr. Kingsley Chin treats cricket player Chris Gayle — 5 observations

Kingsley R. Chin, MD, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based The Less Institute treated cricket player Chris Gayle's back and leg.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Mr. Gayle injured his back and left leg at a recent tournament in Dubai.

 

2. The cricketer's pain remained after visits with several surgeons and after undergoing stem cell injections and therapy.

 

3. Dr. Chin treated Mr. Gayle's back with an epidural injection and facet blocks while using compressive ice water, chiropractic manipulation and a fitting with an orthosis to treat his shin splints.

 

4. Dr. Chin said, "I feel honored to offer world class care to patients and athletes like Chris Gayle, to get them back to their high competitive performance levels."

 

5. Dr. Chin performed surgery on Mr. Gayle's back in Aug. 2015.
