Here are 15 orthopedic surgeons who treated professional athletes in February:

Team physicians Spero G. Karas, MD, and Mark D. Price, MD, PhD, treated Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots players during last month's Super Bowl in Houston.

 

Pitcher Homer Bailey of the Cincinnati Reds was treated by team physician Timothy Kremchek, MD, after suffering an elbow-related setback.

 

George Paletta Jr., MD, performed Tommy John surgery on St. Louis Cardinals top pitching prospect Alex Reyes.

 

Robert LaPrade, MD, operated on Bucks forward Jabari Parker's torn left ACL.

 

Juliet DeCampos, MD, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute served as a spring training team physician for the Cincinnati Reds.

 

James Andrews, MD, treated Atlanta Braves infielder Sean Rodriguez's injured shoulder.

After a follow-up MRI revealed the extent of 76ers player Joel Embiid's meniscus tear, chief team medical director Jonathan Glashow, MD, and the team announced the center would miss the rest of the season.
