Dr. Leo Hise joins Fairview Range — 4 details

Orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Leo Hise, DO, has joined Hibbings, Minn.-based Fairview Range, according to a Business North report.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Dr. Hise specializes in general orthopedics, athletic injuries, pediatric orthopedics and fracture care. He also conducts hand and wrist surgeries.

 

2. He will treat patients at clinics in Hibbing, Minn., Nashwauk, Minn., and Mt. Iron, Minn., and will perform surgeries at Hibbing-based Fairview Range Medical Center and Virginia, Minn.-based Northwoods Surgery Center starting on Feb. 27.

 

3. Dr. Hise previously practiced as an orthopedic surgeon at Las Cruses, N.M.-based Mountain View Regional Medical Center after a 17-year stretch practicing at Grand Rapids, Minn.-based Northern Pines Orthopedic Clinic, his private practice.

 

4. Dr. Hise obtained his medical degree from Stillwater-based Oklahoma State University before completing his residency at El Paso, Texas-based William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Lubbock-based Texas Tech University.
